Rooms
The Palace Hotel has 275 rooms in total, all refurbished and equipped with the amenities expected of a four-star city centre hotel. Business visitors also well catered for with Internet access and work desks. Guests may choose between two room designs, either traditional or contemporary styled. There are four types of room on offer:
Standard Rooms are traditional in décor. Standard facilities are shared across all rooms and include Internet access, television and tea and coffee making facilities.
Executive Double Rooms have a traditional ambience similar to standard rooms, but have an increased feeling of space.
Contemporary Rooms are similar to standard rooms, but have been given a more modern restyling.
Contemporary Double Rooms have a fresh décor. These rooms are spacious and provide two double beds in addition to standard in-room amenities.For increased guest comfort The Palace Hotel is now a non-smoking hotel both in guest rooms and throughout communal areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided.
